Carnival of the Animals

This family-friendly performance features a "zoological fantasy," Carnival of Animals by Camille Saint-Saens paired with Prokofiev's "symphonic take for children," Peter and the Wolf with its themes of vigilance, bravery, and resourcefulness. Haydn's String Quartet, Op. 64 No. 5 The Lark is among his most popular aptly described as "a story, a song, a dance, and a party."
