4:00 PM Performance – Beethoven String Quartet Marathon
Featuring: Op. 74 “Harp,” Op. 18 No. 5, and Op. 59 No. 2

The late afternoon performance brings together rhythmic energy and lyrical beauty. Op. 74, nicknamed the “Harp” for its pizzicato effects, sets the tone for a spirited journey. It’s followed by the charm of Op. 18 No. 5 and the rich textures of Op. 59 No. 2, which bridges the classical and Romantic eras.
