Our Suzuki Program
Founded by Dr. Shinichi Suzuki, the worldwide music education movement known as the Suzuki Method embraces the total development of the child. This method closely follows the parallel of language learning, with parents playing a crucial role. Learning takes place in an environment of co-operation between teacher, parent, and child. Parents attend each lesson with the student, taking notes and then guiding them through their practice at home - they become the 'home teacher.' The teacher-child-parent triangle is a very important and unique aspect to the Suzuki Method. With this approach, "the potential of every child is unlimited."
Another beautiful component of the Suzuki Method is standardized literature. This allows students from all over the world to play music together.
