Alain Trudel
Music Director of the Toledo Symphony, Artistic Director for the Toledo Jazz Orchestra, and Music Director for l’Orchestre Symphonique de Trois-Rivières, conductor Alain Trudel has been praised for his “immense talent as conductor, musician and performer” (La Presse). Trudel is an Emmy and eight-time Juno nominee, was knighted by the government of Québec in 2020, and received a Jubilee medal from the Queen of England. From 2006 to 2022 he was music director of l’Orchestre symphonique de Laval, taking the organization to new artistic heights and financial stability, “Every so often a perfect listening trance can befall one" (Fanfare Magazine). Steven Jarvi
Principal Pops Conductor of the Toledo Symphony, Steven Jarvi has been praised for or his “uncommonly expressive and detailed” performances by the Miami Herald and described as an “eloquent and decisive” conductor by The Wall Street Journal. He is also Music Director of the Dearborn Symphony and is former Resident Conductor of the St. Louis Symphony. Read more.
