Private Instrumental Study (ages 3+)
Private instrument instruction is available for students of all ages and abilities. Many of our faculty use the Suzuki approach to education; this means that children as young as three years old can begin select instruments. Whether a beginning violinist or an adult looking to learn an instrument for the first time, The Toledo Symphony School of Music has a private lesson program for everyone. Students may choose to study any of the instruments listed below! Lessons meet once each week for 30, 45 or 60 minutes. Parent attendance and participation is required for Suzuki lessons. Piano students should have access to a piano for daily practice prior to beginning lessons. String students do not need to procure an instrument prior to their first lesson: your private lesson teacher will discuss instruments with you at your first lesson.
